About Dr. Havens

Jennifer Havens, ND

Dr. Havens is a naturopathic physician and clinical researcher, offering  evidence-based, precision integrative cancer care to adult and pediatric patients, with advanced stage disease or limited therapeutic options. 

Dr. Havens obtained her medical degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences. She completed internships at Yale University in the Department of Pediatrics and at George Washington University in the Center for Integrative Medicine. She was awarded an NIH NRSA Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, after which, she continued her clinical training as a resident in Naturopathic Oncology at City of Hope (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America) in Philadelphia. She also completed a breast surgical oncology internship at Ironwood Cancer and Research Center.

Prior to becoming a naturopathic physician, Dr. Havens received her doctoral training at the University of Virginia in the Department of Molecular and Cancer Biology. She then worked in the government sector developing infectious disease molecular diagnostics. Her background in cancer biology and genomics, coupled with her training as a naturopathic physician, uniquely enables her to use patient-specific genetic analysis to provide precision integrative cancer care for patients with advanced stage disease.  

Dr. Havens is also a certified mistletoe provider.
